What is Syarikat Harmoni and the Industrial Harmony Index?
The Industrial Harmony Index (IHI) is a framework created in 2017 by the Jabatan Perhubungan Perusahaan Malaysia (JPPM) — the Department of Industrial Relations, under the Kementerian Sumber Manusia — to measure the quality of employer–employee relations inside Malaysian companies. Employers that score well in a given year are recognised nationally as “Syarikat Harmoni” for that assessment cycle.
